We had a great stay at this hotel in Luang Prabang. The location was convenient, nestled in a quieter area but still close to many attractions. The view from our room was fantastic, with beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and river. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always making an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the well-kept garden.
There were a few aspects that could be improved upon. the lack of security measures was a concern, such as the absence of an in-room safe.

We stayed three nights in this hotel and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located in a quiet part of Luang Prabang where all major wats are including Wat Xieng Thong just within 3 min walk. Just across the street we had three monasteries and you can observe early morning monk procession whilst having your breakfast! Night market and restaraunt area is 5-7 min of slow walk. Reception staff is extremely polite and helpfull, very good english. Hotel has a good restaraunt, prices seemed to be lower than on the restaraunt street and we saw some well-to-do local families coming for dinner.
We had a mountain view room, but veiw wasn't that great as I expected, but having a private balcony was quite nice. Bathroom seemed to be a bit inconvenient, no shower tub and if you like strong shower you end up with water all over the floor. A separate bath tub is present as well.

Simply perfect location, just away from the busy areas but close enough to walk. Sandwiched between two rivers, the Mekong and the Khan Nam. Opposite a Wat (temple) Very quiet. Needed to see a doctor (travelers diarrhea) and the manager set up an appointment with local English speaking doctor who was very helpful and solved our problems! Stayed 6 nights overall and very happy with the experience.
Internet access not too easy, only one PC also used by staff to manage the hotel bookings etc. Rubbish keyboard. Thought it a bit over priced given its facilities.

The hotel is well located, in the heart of the city. Very convenient for visiting the city. Breakfast at the balcony next to the main street and in front of the pagoda is very pleasant. The mountain view rooms at the upstairs give a very nice view of the mountain and green surroundings. Very quiet place.
No heater in the room. Luangprabang at the end of december is quite fresh mainly at night time.

the staff were excellent and the location was good - very peaceful ambience
i didnt like the room design - the bath and wash basin are in the bedroom and the door closing is difficult - you had to lock an outside french window and an interior one too.

the location was perfect, with the main attractions and temples just a short walk away. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and modern rooms, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, and they even left a delicious snack in my room every evening. the breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the temples, was a great start to the day.
I did notice that there were limited lounging areas in the hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at The View Pavilion. The staff is extremely helpful and the location is perfect, both of these are factors in making for a great stay in Luang Prabang. .
The beds are a little hard, but not enough to keep me from choosing this hotel for my next stay in Luang Prabang.

Perfect location, 10 min walk from town. Nice setting opposite wat. Helpful friendly staff, very enthusiastic although not always able to help but not lacking effort. Top rooms would have been good with view, my room had no view which was the main reason I booked the hotel. Good breakfast, overall just about the right value, would stay there again although will probably try out other hotels next trip. Nice design and setting although very few facilities.
Lack of view in room which wasn't what I was expecting from the explanation. No safety box, although they did agree to put my valuables (money, passport etc) in their safety box at reception which I later discovered was a filing cabinet which was left open!! Room not clean properly when I moved in, although they quickly rectified. Cold shower on 1st day but they rectified for 2nd day.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a quiet location, just a short walk from the center of LP. The hotel is well-priced and offers great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were excellent, and I particularly loved the balcony with comfy chairs, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Moreover, the hotel's location just across the street from one of the temples was a convenient starting point for my daily exploration of the area.
All in all, my stay was fantastic and I couldn't fault a thing.

All was perfectly fine with my stay.

The free WiFi was reliable and reasonably fast. the hotel was located in a quiet spot in the old part of town, making it a modest walk to where all the shops and restaurants are.
The beds were very firm and uncomfortable, and so were the pillows.
